Job Overview:

Gaspar Insurance Services is currently seeking a full-time New Business Account Manager to join our team at our Woodland Hills, CA office location!

The ideal candidate has some post high school education or training. He or she must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a New Business Account Manager you will be responsible for achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives successfully closing sales on agency referred business. Exceed customer expectations by cross-selling, providing adequate coverage, and successfully informing insureds of exposures and risks.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or AA is a plus
  • Insurance License required
  • Proven customer service experience with strong phone contact handling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal & written)
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Solid problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • 1-3 Years of Insurance Customer Service or Sales Experiences preferred

 

Essential Functions:

  • Quote inbound leads and referrals
  • Re-market existing clients and examine cross-selling opportunities
  • Research accounts, generate interest, and follow through sales leads
  • Build productive, long-lasting relationships by evaluating clients’ needs & requirements to propose
  • suitable policies
  • Explain differences in policy specifics leading clients to make informed decisions
  • Meet personal and team sales targets by closing sales and achieving monthly quotas
  • Create client proposals when applicable
  • Assist with obtaining underwriting approval by completing application for coverage
  • Respond to clients’ questions and complaints, and follow-up after meetings or conversations
  • Monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction, solidify trust and safeguard reputation
  • Provide exceptional day-to-day routine consultation, service, and support to insureds via phone and
  • email
  • Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge by participating in continuing education opportunities
  • Maintain up to date and accurate information and client correspondence within Client
  • Management System (EPIC)
  • When feasible, generate outside new business sales through personal network/referrals
  • Meet monthly sales goals

 Compensation:

 Base Salary of $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year + Commission
